    Join us for an in depth conversation with Producing Artistic Director of The Tribe Theatre Company in NYC: Nick Browne. In this episode we delve into what it means to have a "company mindset". Nick is a director, producer and collaborator from St. Mary’s County Maryland. He received a BFA in Acting from Point Park University, where he studied extensively in directing and co-founded Pinnacle Productions, a student run experimental theatre company. In New York he has studied with SITI Theatre Company, NYTW and produced shows Off and Off-off-Broadway. Nick is the Producing Artistic Director of the Tribe Theatre Company, an ensemble dedicated to producing plays that mediate on underrepresented subjects and characters. He is currently taking a director's mentorship under DeMone Seraphin. A graduate of Pitzer College and Columbia Engineering, he studied a combination of theatre, dance, physics, and computer science. He graduated with dual degrees in Management Engineering and Computer Science. His focus is creating high-quality work that has elements of fantasy, science fiction, spirituality, diplomacy, or empathy at its core. Magic The Play, his most recent show, was an Equity Showcase with a sold-out week long run at Theatre Row.     Join us for an in-depth conversation about creating original work, producing and the paranormal with Elise Gainer: SAG-AFTRA actress, Elise Gainer is originally from Portland, Oregon where she performed for more than 10 years at 9 different professional theater companies and spent four seasons with the Oregon Symphony Pops singing with the Leyden Singers. She then gave up a corporate dream job and became the oldest undergraduate at The Boston Conservatory. After graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater Performance at the age of 42, she moved to New York City. She has enjoyed working in regional and Off-Off-Broadway productions, as well as film and web projects.
